Myanmar & Cruise Package 10 Days 9 Nights

Day 1: Yangon arrival (D)

Upon Arrival, Myanmar Tour‘s guide will welcome you and transfer to your hotel in the city center.

Check in and enjoy your very first visit to the most outstanding monument in Yangon: Shwedagon Pagoda. This is a prominent historical site where you can enjoy panoramic view of the city and experience the local religion.

Followed by Sule pagoda to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church…. to Chinese temple and town. Enjoy your welcome dinner with a fine restaurant.

Day 2: Yangon city Tour (B)

After breakfast at hotel, we will spend the whole day to explore the charm of Yangon city starting from Sule pagoda to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church…. to Chinese temple and town.

In the afternoon, we will do some shopping at Scott market, the biggest market in Myanmar, being famous of its gems, jewelry, handicrafts…

Back to hotel to relax in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Yangon – Inle Lake – Nampan Villages (B)

Embarking on a flight to Heho, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Nyang Shwe town by the lake from where you will embark on a beautiful boat trip to explore the life of Intha people whose image exposes vividly through one leg rower. Check in your resort and enjoy a boat trip to Nampan Villages to discover the

local people as well as their life. Spend our time to know about local traditional work such as making boat, black smith, silk weaving and enjoy the uniqueness of Jumping Cat pagoda.

Come back to your hotel for your relaxing.

Day 4: Inle Lake – Indein – Pa O village (B)

Visit one of the most unique market on Inle lake which happens 5 days in different villages in Inlayarea : the Indein market. There is no better chance to behold the scene of Pa-O, Padang tribes in their traditional dresses.

Our guide will offer you some visit to local habitat of Pa-O people in Indein. Back to your hotel to relax in the middle of tranquil place.

Day 5: Inle Lake – fly to Mandalay (B)

We will relax in the morning then boat trip back to the town and car transfer to airport for a short flight to Mandalay. After refreshment, you will take a sightseeing tour of Mandalay which includes Mahanumi, a life like Buddha image. Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar and that make her to be the best place to see all the traditional arts and crafts. Start visiting gold leaf making work-place and see how the gold leaf is being made by hand in a traditional way. Continue visit the Old Palace grounds; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha’s Doctrine; Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill.

Day 6: Mandalay Embarking to Cruise

The embarkation time is at 12 noon at Gawein jetty. Welcome Cocktail in the Saloon.

We sail upstream to Mingun. Cast off time is at 12:30 hrs. Lunch will be served at 13.00. The sailing time is about 2 hrs. Our English speaking manager (or your private guide) will assist the guests during the visit of the Mingun Pagoda Complex.

Moor Overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner guests can enjoy a Dance and Drama performance by the Mandalay Arts School on the sundeck (if available).

Day 7: Mingun cruise to Sagaing River Village

Early in the morning cruise downstream. During the 2 hours journey the passengers can admire the natural beauty of the river and the life of its banks while relaxing on the sundeck or just sitting outside their own cabin. Enjoy the sunrise over Sagaing Hill.

Enjoy breakfast onboard while the cruise is anchoring for visit in Sagaing. After breakfast passengers can go ashore to visit Sagaing with the assistance of our Ship Manager or their own guide.

Downstream to Bagan. The cast off time is at 10.30 hrs. Lunch will be served at 13.00. In the late afternoon we stop at Yandabo, a village specialize in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. Cruise all day and moor overnight near a river village.

Day 8: Bagan Disembark cruise – Uncover the myths (B)

After breakfast, we will arrive Bagan and disembark at jetty port. Our guide collect you there and drive out to the visit and discover other temples in Bagan.
Head into the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. At this bustling market, locals meet daily to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon <

Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad.

From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Your morning excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. After your own lunch, continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture.

Take a horse-cart ride to Ananda Temple, home to four great, gilded Buddha statues.

Day 9: Bagan Tour (B)

Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism. As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Htilomino, Gawdamgangyi, Ananda and Shwezigon temples will attract your sense of curiosity with a profound impression. The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 10: Bagan – Fly back to Yangon for departure (B)

Free till transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. You will be await at airport for connecting with your flight back to your home country
